Design for print powerpoint presentation (One)

Okay, for my presentation for design for print, i decided too get a bit of background
knowledge on the different kinds of print that was and is out there today. I discovered that the first form of printing was developed in 200AD and was called Woodcut printing. In researching woodcut printing many dates have arisen in claims of when the dates of development where but according too my research the earliest examples of woodblock dated back to before 220AD and where formed in China, this process only hit Europe over 1200 years later.

My favorite type of print is Lithography after researching into some of it's finished examples. I adore the fact that limited colours have been used too make something so astoundingly attractive in visual format.

Litho was invented by Aloys Senefelder in the late 1700's but only came into its full artistic function in 1890 with colour prints of another artist, Pierre Bonnard.
As this is abbreviated and i don't wish too include ALL my slides from the presentation i have decided too leave it after i showed a few examples of screen printing which influence me as a designer.

I am going too experiment with screenprinting a LOT more this year because i <3 the outcomes acchieved in the process and i believe it makes your work so much more special than Ctrl P
